COME AND JOIN US...
We are currently seeking a strategic, collaborative and commercially minded IT Business Systems & Solutions Manager to join our IT team.
This is a newly created leadership role that places a strong emphasis on delivering business outcomes through technology rather than purely technical delivery. It presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future direction of business systems and solutions across our business, drive continuous improvement, and maximise the value from technology investments.
As IT Business Systems & Solutions Manager, you'll lead the management, optimisation and continuous improvement of our business applications, solution delivery capability, and data and analytics function. Operating at the intersection of technology, business operations, and data-driven insight, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business efficiency, enabling informed decision making and delivering strategic value across the business.
Reporting to and working closely with our Director of IT, you'll act as a trusted business partner to stakeholders across Gleneagles and the wider group, serving as the bridge between business needs and technology solutions. You'll ensure our systems, applications, processes, and data capabilities are aligned with business objectives, supporting operational excellence, growth, innovation, and informed decision making.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
