IT Category Manager
An established and growing not-for-profit care organisation is seeking an experienced Category Manager to play a key role in delivering strategic procurement across IT.

The Role
Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in the Bucks office) Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Working as part of a forward-thinking procurement team, you will partner with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective sourcing strategies across key indirect spend categories.

Key responsibilities include:
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand medium- and long-term requirements Leading end-to-end procurement activity, including RFI/RFQ processes Developing and managing supplier relationships to drive innovation and continuous improvement Delivering measurable value and return on investment across third-party spend Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget through effective collaboration Negotiating contracts and managing commercial risk to ensure value for money
About You
You will be an experienced Senior Buyer or Category Manager with strong exposure to IT, Marketing and/or HR categories. You bring a commercially astute mindset and are confident managing complex procurement activity in a fast-paced environment.

Key requirements:
Strong knowledge of relevant supplier markets and emerging trends Proven ability to lead negotiations and manage supplier contracts Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess cost, value, and risk Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering against tight deadlines Ideally degree educated and/or CIPS qualified
