IT Applications Consultant | Tata Consumer Products | UK – Eaglescliffe

Do you enjoy partnering with stakeholders to deliver practical IT solutions that make a real difference?

Look no further! We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded IT Applications Consultant to join our Eaglescliffe site.

This is a key role supporting business applications, operational systems and digital solutions.

This isn't a purely technical support role. You'll act as a trusted IT business partner, working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, HR and site leadership teams to understand requirements, improve processes and deliver application solutions that support business success.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify requirements and deliver practical application solutions
  • Manage and support key factory and business applications essential to day-to-day operations
  • Lead application improvements, upgrades, testing and implementation activities
  • Maintain application interfaces, integrations and data flows to ensure system reliability
  • Create and maintain documentation, process maps, testing records and audit-ready controls
  • Identify opportunities for automation, reporting improvements and process efficiency
  • Support cyber security, data protection and compliance requirements across application environments

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in IT applications, business systems, application support or IT consulting
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutions
  • Knowledge of application support, incident management and change control processes
  • Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and technology vendors
  • Experience with reporting tools, databases, cloud-based applications or manufacturing systems would be advantageous
