Help deliver the technology that supports modern policing.

Join us as a IT Contracts Officer on a 12-month fixed term basis and support the contract lifecycle from beginning to end, taking part in negotiations to optimise value for money. In this role, you’ll track supplier performance ensuring service agreements are met and disputes are resolved making sure to comply with legislation and standards at all times.

You’ll be:

  • Identifying and analysing risks/opportunities regarding IT contracts and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Assisting with supplier negotiations to ensure value for money is achieved.
  • Supporting and planning procurement activities and developing acceptance criteria/procedures.

You must have:

  • A degree, relevant qualification or experience in a business, legal, finance or technology area.
  • Experience and knowledge of working in a procurement environment using UK contract law and EU directives.
  • Contract management lifecycle knowledge.
