About The Opportunity
Staffordshire Police are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable IT Digital Trainer/Developer to join our Learning & Organisational Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong IT training background to share their expertise and help to develop the next generation of Police Officers and Staff on IT Policing systems.
About The Role
The post-holder will demonstrate capability and experience in the design and delivery of engaging training programmes covering all aspects of IT and Digital systems. You will ensure that officers have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to use Force systems during their day-to-day role, to assist with the recording of investigations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding and capability of learning and development processes (learning needs analysis, design, delivery, evaluation, and environmental scanning) together with the ability to clearly communicate with, and positively influence, staff at all levels in the areas of learning and development.

As an IT Digital Trainer/Developer, you will design and deliver:
- Systems training in line with College of Policing guidance, through local and national programmes.
- Develop online training programmes for uploading on in Force training platforms.
- Work as part of the wider Learning and Organisational Development team to deliver training in support of the wider policing plan, to meet operational needs.

Location
This post is based at Staffordshire Police Headquarters, Weston Road, Stafford, ST18 0YY, but there may be a requirement to visit other training facilities within the Force and region. Full Driving Licence required.

Residency Eligibility
