About The Role

The Senior IT Engineer & Cloud Administrator role at Reboot Recruit Ltd offers a unique opportunity to work within a globally recognized technology provider. This position is designed for an experienced IT professional who is passionate about infrastructure, cloud technologies, and system support. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and optimizing the company's IT environment, which encompasses both on-premises and cloud-based solutions. Working closely with the Head of IT Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the organization’s IT systems. This is a hands-on role that provides exposure to a broad spectrum of technologies, from Microsoft 365 and Azure to Windows Server and enterprise infrastructure, supporting a dispersed international user base. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT infrastructure and cloud administration, with relevant certifications and practical experience. Essential qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Hyper-V is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of networking protocols such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and core Microsoft infrastructure technologies. Prior experience supporting Windows 11, desktop hardware, and enterprise IT environments is also necessary. Strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are vital. A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development is highly valued, along with a demonstrated ability to support infrastructure upgrades and ongoing system improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Providing technical support across 1st to 3rd line levels, troubleshooting issues, and resolving user queries efficiently.
  • Administering and optimizing Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, ensuring seamless collaboration across the organization.
  • Managing and supporting Azure cloud environments, including provisioning and maintaining resources.
  • Overseeing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Hyper-V virtualization platforms, ensuring system stability and security.
  • Planning and executing infrastructure upgrades, implementing security best practices, and contributing to strategic IT projects aimed at improving operational efficiency.
  • Regular communication with stakeholders, documenting processes, and providing training to end-users.
