IT Engineer (CCTV/Access Control)
Integration Solutions Specialist (Remote)
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, customer delivery, and software integrations. Rather than a traditional development role, this position focuses on taking customer requirements and technical concepts through the full integration lifecycle—from design and validation to successful release and ongoing support.
You’ll work closely with customers, internal teams, and technology partners to deliver robust integration solutions that are scalable, supportable, and suitable for a broad customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver technical integration solutions
- Manage integrations from concept through to release
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams
- Support UAT, testing, and functional validation activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Provide training and technical guidance
- Research and validate third-party technologies and integrations
- Ensure solutions remain scalable, supportable, and aligned with wider business objectives

About You
Essential Experience
- Experience delivering technical integration projects
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Knowledge of APIs, SDKs, and system integrations
- Customer-facing stakeholder management experience
- Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP and HTTP
- Experience within Windows Server environments
- Exposure to testing, QA, or UAT processes
- Excellent communication and documentation skills

Desirable Experience
- CCTV, VMS, video surveillance, or access control technologies
- SaaS or cloud-based environments
- SQL querying
- Exposure to the Microsoft technology stack (.NET, IIS, etc.)
- Experience with Postman or PowerShell
- Agile and DevOps methodologies
