IT Field Engineer

From setting up robust IT infrastructures to resolving technical issues with precision, our Field Engineers are trusted by their colleagues to provide the expertise required.
What You’ll Be Doing As a Field Engineer, you’ll take a proactive approach to ensure our clients’ systems are running smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include: Installing desktops, servers, and network equipment on-site Performing maintenance and support in our data centres Diagnosing and repairing hardware faults where possible Providing in-person or remote user support Travelling to client sites across the UK for troubleshooting or project delivery

Our ideal Field Engineer is: Client-focused with a friendly and professional approach Flexible and thrives on variety — no two days are the same Quick to learn and eager to contribute from day one A strong communicator, confident working with both technical and non-technical users
Your Skills and Experience We’re looking for candidates with: A Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in a relevant engineering or IT field 1–2 years’ experience in a technical support or IT service role Certifications such as MCP, MCITP, A+, or CCENT (desirable) Solid knowledge of PC, laptop, and server hardware Familiarity with technologies such as: Windows Server 2008/2012 Microsoft Office Suite Active Directory Networking fundamentals Citrix Apple/macOS environments Windows 7, 8, 10
