Job Purpose

We are hiring for a IT Field Technical Analyst based in London to provide frontline technical support across the network. Working within IT Service Operations, you'll be the trusted local IT expert, supporting colleagues across the business and ensuring they have the tools, technology and support needed to work effectively.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support, manage local IT infrastructure and act as a key point of contact for technical issues across your network. From supporting end users and troubleshooting hardware to maintaining local technology assets and driving service improvements, you'll make a direct impact on our operational performance.

Working closely with operational teams, suppliers and wider IT functions, you'll help ensure technology services remain reliable, secure and fit for purpose across Cadent's estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Frontline IT Impact – Provide direct technical support to colleagues across operational sites, helping resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Technology Variety – Work across desktop services, networking, applications, telephony, mobile devices and audio-visual technologies.
  • Ownership & Problem Solving – Take ownership of incidents from identification through to resolution, delivering excellent customer service throughout.
  • Regional Visibility – Build strong relationships with users at all levels, from operational colleagues through to senior leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to increase first-time fixes and improve the effectiveness of IT support services.
  • Mobile & Flexible Working – Support multiple operational sites across your network, providing hands-on assistance where it matters most.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
