IT Financial Operations Manager
We’re partnering with a leading organisation in the financial services sector to recruit an experienced IT Financial Operations Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a mature technology function, supporting senior IT leadership while driving financial governance, operational excellence, supplier management, and continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong IT financial management experience with excellent stakeholder engagement and a passion for improving business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end IT financial operations lifecycle, including purchase orders, invoice processing, financial administration, and governance.
- Act as the main point of escalation for IT financial and supplier-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Partner with IT Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and year-end activities.
- Produce regular management information, dashboards, and KPI reports for senior IT leadership.
- Drive process improvements across IT financial operations and business management.
- Support supplier governance, contract administration, and vendor performance.
- Coordinate IT contractor onboarding and extension processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Prepare executive reporting, meeting packs, and business updates for senior technology leaders.
- Deliver training on IT financial processes, governance, and business management procedures.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and digital tools to improve operational efficiency and reporting.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in IT Business Management, IT Financial Operations, Technology Business Management, or a similar role.
- Strong experience managing IT budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, purchase orders, invoice processing, and cost management.
- Experience working closely with IT Finance and senior technology stakeholders.
- Strong background in vendor and supplier management.
- Solid understanding of IT governance, compliance, and financial controls.
- Experience producing executive dashboards and management reporting using Power BI, Excel, or similar reporting tools.
- Experience with financial systems such as CODA, SAP, Oracle, Oracle Fusion, or equivalent ERP platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.
- Experience working within a large enterprise or regulated environment.

Desirable Skills
- Experience supporting a CIO Office or Technology Leadership team.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Power Automate, or other AI-enabled productivity tools.
- PMO or project coordination experience.
- Continuous Improvement, Lean, or process optimisation experience.
