About the Role
We seek an experienced IT Functional Manager to support, optimize, and enhance our order-to-delivery workflows.
You will be our key business-facing expert for order management processes within NetSuite, across all order channels—Amazon eCommerce, Shopify, B2B EDI, and direct sales.
Working closely with Enterprise Architecture, Senior Specialist IT Operations, and other IT Functional Managers, your role will ensure our systems and processes effectively meet stakeholder needs. Your expertise in bridging business requirements and technical execution is critical:
- Translating business needs into functional specifications.
- Leading testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations for seamless order fulfillment.
Primary Responsibilities
Business Process Analysis & Optimization
- Analyze and optimize order-to-delivery processes within NetSuite across all channels:
- Sales order entry
- Order fulfillment
- Shipment management
- Inventory tracking
- Serve as business subject matter expert (SME) for:
- NetSuite Order Management module
- Order fulfillment workflows
- Multi-channel order processing
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual workload, errors, and cycle time.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Senior Specialist IT Operations to shape functional requirements for:
- NetSuite configuration
- Customization
- Integration improvements

Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Collaborate with customer operations, digital/e-commerce, and B2B teams to capture functional needs.
- Translate business requirements into clean functional specifications.
- Document current workflows, identify gaps, and propose future-state processes.
- Create runbooks and troubleshooting guides for order management issues across all channels.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Lead and design functional testing for order management enhancements.
- Develop test plans and test cases for end-to-end order fulfillment across all platforms (Amazon, Shopify, EDI, direct sales).
- Validate data flows, integrations, and system synchronisation between NetSuite and external platforms.
- Approve functional correctness before deployments.
Stakeholder Training & Communication
- Conduct training sessions on system changes and order management processes.
- Act as the primary liaison between:
- Order management business users
- IT teams (Integration Manager, NetSuite Admin)
- External partners (e-commerce platforms, EDI providers, 3PLs)
- Clearly communicate functional requirements, changes, and issue status to both business and technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
Essential
✅ Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). ✅ 5–10 years of experience in IT business analysis, order management, supply chain, or fulfillment. ✅ Hands-on expertise with:
- NetSuite Order Entry, Sales Orders, Fulfillment, and Inventory Management modules. ✅ Strong understanding of:
- Multi-channel order processing (e-commerce, EDI, direct sales). ✅ Analytical, problem-solving mindset with meticulous attention to detail. ✅ Ability to create clear documentation, test plans, and training materials. ✅ Stakeholder management skills—bridging business and technical language.
Preferred
🔹 Experience with integration specialists, architecture teams, or IT development teams. 🔹 Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Amazon Seller Central, Shopify). 🔹 Knowledge of EDI order processing (standards: 850, 856, 810). 🔹 Understanding of 3PL/fulfillment and warehouse management (WMS). 🔹 Exposure to APIs, data mapping, or integration projects. 🔹 NetSuite Administrator or functional certification (ideal but not essential).
