Position: IT Infrastructure Engineer / 3rd Line Support Analyst / Engineer (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location & Working Arrangement: London office (2 days in-office, hybrid working)
Salary: £48,000 pro-rated
Client: A leading retail and e-commerce brand looking to grow their Network, Cloud, and Infrastructure IT team.
About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join their IT team as a 3rd line Support Analyst / Engineer. In this vibrant role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining their technological backbone by supporting, owning, and escalating IT infrastructure issues, while ensuring security, resilience, and scalability of their systems.
You’ll be expected to provide comprehensive expertise in the following key areas:
- Microsoft Windows servers and infrastructure
- VMware virtualisation
- Microsoft Azure cloud solutions
- Intune (Endpoint Management)

Responsibilities
- Providing 3rd-line support across their network, infrastructure, and cloud services
- Developing a broad expertise spanning technologies such as:
- Active Directory
- Virtual Machines
- Citrix environments
- (Windows) Servers
- SQL Server
- System monitoring tools
- Azure cloud deployments
- Owning escalations, outages, and maintaining a high level of service availability
- Assisting with the secure, resilient, and scalable growth of their IT infrastructure
- Working effectively with end-users and staff to resolve IT service requests
- Collaborating with team members on network optimisation, security, and infrastructure improvements
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience in a similar 3rd line IT support analyst / engineering role
- Strong experience working with:
- Microsoft 365 and the Microsoft ecosystem
- Broad infrastructure knowledge covering:
- Domain Name System (DNS)
- Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
- Active Directory
- Windows virtual environments
- SQL Server
- Virtualisation technologies such as VMware
- Azure Cloud Platform
- Intune (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager preferences welcomed)

- Experience working with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
- Hands-on experience interacting with both internal staff and external customers to provide IT support
