IT Infrastructure Specialist | London (Hybrid, 3 days in office) | £65,000-£75,000 + Benefits

A growing international business is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join its expanding technology function.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining, securing and modernising a complex infrastructure estate across both cloud and on-premise environments. You'll work closely with the Head of IT Infrastructure and be involved in a range of infrastructure improvement projects that support continued business growth.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on infrastructure role where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day performance, availability and security of the organisation's infrastructure estate, while contributing to strategic cloud and infrastructure projects.

You'll work across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and endpoint technologies, helping deliver a reliable, scalable and secure technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud

  • Manage and support Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Administer Azure AD / Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive
  • Manage Windows Server, Active Directory and virtualisation platforms
  • Own endpoint management through Microsoft Intune
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation and configuration records

Security & Resilience

  • Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning
  • Manage patching, vulnerability remediation and infrastructure hardening
  • Ensure infrastructure remains secure, resilient and highly available

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Support cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation initiatives
  • Drive improvements across performance, security and operational efficiency
  • Act as an escalation point for infrastructure incidents and problem management

About You

We're looking for someone with experience across modern infrastructure technologies including:

  • Microsoft Azure
  • Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory
  • VMware or Hyper-V
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery
  • ITIL / ITSM environments

Experience within multi-site environments or exposure to enterprise networking and security technologies would be advantageous.
