IT Infrastructure & Support Analyst (12-month FTC) – Leeds
We're working with a leading law firm to recruit an experienced IT Infrastructure & Support Analyst to join their Leeds-based IT team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
With over 150 years of heritage and offices across London, Leeds, Birmingham, and Colchester, our client provides legal services throughout England and Wales to a broad client base ranging from multi-national corporations to private individuals, charities, housing associations, and Regulators. With around 350 employees and a growing international reach, they're embarking on a 24-month programme to transform how IT services are delivered across the firm.
The Role
This is a hybrid role combining 2nd line service desk support with hands-on infrastructure work. You'll be based onsite five days a week in Leeds, working alongside two IT colleagues, with occasional travel to the London and Birmingham offices for training and annual leave cover. Alongside BAU service delivery, you'll manage the full lifecycle of small infrastructure projects and upgrades, and participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
