Role: IT Manager
Location: Rubery, Birmingham – site based
Salary: Circa £50,000 to £60,000
Benefits: 8% non-contributory pension

Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing business, is looking to recruit a hands-on IT Manager to support its ongoing digital transformation. This is a varied and hands-on role offering the opportunity to work across manufacturing, IT and business systems, helping to improve processes through data, reporting and technology.
The Role
Working closely with production, quality and management teams, you will develop meaningful Power BI dashboards, analyse manufacturing data and support the integration of production systems with wider business applications. You'll also act as the key liaison with the company's external IT provider, helping to deliver technology projects and ensure business systems run efficiently. This is not currently a team management role but that may change in the future.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing Power BI dashboards and automated management reports.
- Analysing production and quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Supporting the integration of manufacturing equipment and business systems.
- Assisting with ERP, warehouse and shop floor technology projects.
- Coordinating with the outsourced IT provider on system improvements and deployments.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- General IT support when required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience using Power BI to create impactful dashboards and reports, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You'll be comfortable working with data from multiple systems, and you will have experience within a manufacturing or production environment.

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Business One, SQL, manufacturing technologies such as AOI, or warehouse systems would be very advantageous. They are looking to take advantage of what AI and automation has to offer, so an interest in this area would be very welcome.
