About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on IT Support professional to be the primary point of contact for all IT needs across our rapidly expanding UK company, which encompasses several subsidiaries. This is an operational, user-facing role that requires strong technical skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to coordinate with our Group IT team in Spain, working closely to align local IT strategy with global objectives, promote best practices, and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to end users across UK subsidiaries (hardware, software, connectivity, access management), ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and within agreed SLAs.
  • Lead the IT onboarding of new employees and newly acquired entities, including equipment setup, system access provisioning, and induction to corporate IT tools and policies.
  • Manage relationships with local technology vendors and service providers, ensuring quality of service and cost-effectiveness.
  • Act as the local liaison with Group IT in Spain, escalating complex issues and ensuring adherence to group-wide standards, security policies, and data protection requirements.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets across all UK locations.
  • Oversee IT projects including infrastructure upgrades, system integrations, and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Monitor IT budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Stay updated on technology trends and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and innovation.

What We're Looking For

  • Solid hands-on experience in IT support environments, ideally serving 100+ users in a multi-site or multi-entity setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of end-user technologies: Windows/M365, networking basics, endpoint management tools, HELIX (ITSM tool), etc.
  • Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple requests and small projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills and a service-first attitude; capable of working autonomously while staying aligned with central IT.
  • Fluent English required; Spanish is a plus given the group structure.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in IT management, ideally in a multi-subsidiary or multinational business.
  • Broad technical expertise in end-user technologies (Windows, M365, Active Directory/Entra ID, networking fundamentals and endpoint management), with exposure to IT project coordination and vendor management in a multi-site environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project management abilities and experience with aligning local and global IT strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
