SCOPE
The IT Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation, delivery, and optimisation of IT systems across East West Connect (EWC). The role supports the Head of IT by ensuring IT services, applications, infrastructure, and site-based technologies operate reliably, securely, and effectively in line with agreed IT strategy, governance, and policies. This is a hands-on operational role with a strong focus on construction and site-based systems, system integration, and continuous improvement.

Essential Criteria
Minimum qualifications for this role are:
Proven experience in a Senior Technical Specialist role or IT Manager role, ideally within construction, engineering, or field service environments Hands-on experience with Job Logic or similar construction/field service management systems Experience in Product Management, including system improvement and user-focused development Experience in Project Management, particularly delivery of systems across the entire lifecycle to Business-as-Usual support and ongoing maintenance. Solid background in Systems Administration and Microsoft tools (Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, SharePoint, Business Central, IAM) Experience managing cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure) Understanding of construction project lifecycles, site operations, and field-based workflows Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and business continuity planning Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Willingness to travel to other sites

Experience with construction software (e.g., project management, estimating, or BIM tools) Knowledge of integrations between SharePoint and cloud systems Familiarity with mobile workforce solutions and remote connectivity in site environments Experience with Power BI or other reporting/analytics tools Understanding of ITIL or structured IT service management frameworks MCSE certification or other Microsoft certifications

DUTIES
Ensure that the systems at East West Connect and East West Compass are running smoothly with the ability to triage and troubleshoot issues a variety of technical issues, working with the business teams, MSP and IT suppliers to get the issues resolved. Making sure IT initiatives delivered are aligned to Data, IT and Cybersecurity compliance applying SDLC principles for delivery best practice. Driving the delivery of projects and enhancement initiatives for the business systems Support EWC project teams, including those based at site, making sure they have the equipment, system access and permissions in place to support their projects Able to troubleshoot a variety of systems and devices to get users operational To identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency of business operations. Providing timely status updates for tasks and initiatives and contributing to and keeping the service management tool and project data up to date. Supporting the development of dashboards and KPIs Support the technical development of new platforms via provision of environments and management of user permissions. Active support and enhancement of various business systems managing configuration, IAM and system management. To represent the company in a positive and professional way at all times.
