About Watershed
Watershed is the enterprise sustainability platform. Companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens use Watershed to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for voluntary and regulatory reporting including CSRD, and drive real decarbonization. We are looking for team members who love product-building, want to work hard at a mission-oriented startup, and will collaborate with us in shaping the culture of a growing team.
We have offices in San Francisco, New York, Denver, London, Paris, Berlin, Sydney, Mexico City, and remote team members across the US and Europe. We hope that you'll be interested in joining us!
The role
We are looking for an experienced IT operations analyst to manage and continuously improve the systems that support our growing business.
As an IT operations analyst at Watershed, you'll be our first on-the-ground IT partner for our London office and a key contributor to our global IT operations. You'll own the day-to-day employee experience — from new-hire setup to A/V troubleshooting to the dozens of small problems that come up in any growing office — while partnering with the broader IT team in San Francisco on automation, security, and lifecycle improvements.
This is an exciting time to join IT at Watershed. We've equipped employees with best-in-class AI tools, and you’ll play a key role in showcasing what modern IT looks like when AI is woven into the fabric of how we work. We want someone who is excited to build agent-driven workflows, automate the toil out of IT operations, and help define what "IT in an AI era" actually means in practice. If you get excited about replacing repetitive tickets with smart automation and shipping things that make your colleagues' lives meaningfully better, you'll fit right in.
We're looking for someone hungry, naturally curious, and customer-obsessed. You don't need to know everything coming in, but you should have strong instincts, a track record of figuring things out, and genuine excitement about helping people solve technology problems.
This position is based in our London office, where you'll work four days per week as part of our in-office culture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What’s the interview process like?
It starts the same for every candidate: getting to know the team members through 1 to 2 conversations about Watershed, your experience, and your interests. Next steps can vary by role, but usual next steps are a skill or experience interview (e.g. a coding interview for an engineer, a portfolio review for a designer, deeper experience call for other roles) which leads to a virtual or in person interview panel. We prioritize transparency and lack of surprise throughout the process.
What if I need accommodations for my interview?
At Watershed, we are dedicated to ensuring an inclusive recruitment process. We provide reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities, long-term conditions, mental health needs, religious observances, neurodivergence, or pregnancy-related support requirements. If you need assistance during your process, please contact your recruiter.
