Manpower are currently seeking an interim IT Operations Transformation Lead to work with our global FMCG client Reckitt, renowned for brands such as Dettol, Finish, Nurofen, and Air Wick, and to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in Slough. This is a full-time temporary role to start as soon as possible and to run for 12 months, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive.
The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Transformation Lead to drive a large-scale change programme across our IT Service Operations function. This role will be accountable for end-to-end delivery of operational transformation, ensuring improved service performance, efficiency, and scalability, while embedding modern, AI-driven operational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end transformation of IT Service Operations, from current state assessment through to steady-state optimisation
- Define and execute a clear transformation roadmap aligned to business and technology strategy
- Drive service model redesign, including operating model, processes, tooling, and governance
- Oversee service migration, vendor onboarding/offboarding, and knowledge transfer activities
- Embed best practices across ITSM (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request Management)
- Lead stakeholder engagement across business, IT, and third-party providers, including executive-level communication

AIOps & Automation Focus
- Bring recent, hands-on experience implementing AIOps capabilities within IT Operations
- Identify and deploy opportunities for intelligent automation, predictive monitoring, and event correlation
- Improve service resilience and reduce manual intervention through data-driven operations
- Partner with engineering and platform teams to integrate AI-driven tooling into the service landscape

Required Experience
- Proven track record delivering large-scale IT Operations transformation programmes in complex environments
- Strong experience leading operational change within in-house, outsourced, or hybrid service delivery models
- Demonstrated success implementing AIOps or advanced automation within IT Operations
- Deep knowledge of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and modern service management practices
- Experience working with multiple vendors and managing commercial/service relationships
- Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
