The Role
Our new IT Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising technology spend across Sofina Foods Europe. Operating at both strategic and operational levels, you'll be responsible for everything from negotiating enterprise agreements with major technology partners to sourcing hardware, infrastructure, manufacturing technology and IT services that keep our operations running.
This is a broad and influential role for an experienced procurement professional who enjoys variety and thrives on building strong supplier partnerships. One day you could be leading a complex software licensing negotiation, the next supporting a factory investment project or reviewing cloud services strategy. You'll work closely with senior IT leaders, finance teams and operational stakeholders to ensure every technology investment delivers value, performance and long-term business benefit.
This role is based in Leeds, however will require regular travel to sites across the UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe.
Your Key Responsibilities
The IT Procurement Manager will be responsible for delivering commercial value, managing supplier relationships and supporting technology investments across the business, including:
- Developing and implementing a group-wide IT procurement strategy aligned to business and technology roadmaps
- Leading sourcing activities across software, cloud services, infrastructure, telecoms, hardware, manufacturing technology and professional services
- Managing commercial negotiations, contract renewals and licensing agreements to maximise value and minimise risk
- Building strong relationships with strategic technology partners and service providers
- Identifying opportunities for cost optimisation, supplier consolidation and process improvement
- Supporting major technology transformation projects through effective procurement planning and supplier engagement
- Managing the full contract lifecycle, including MSAs, Statements of Work and service agreements
- Providing commercial challenge and procurement expertise to IT and business stakeholders
- Delivering spend analysis, savings reporting and supplier performance management through KPIs and SLAs
- Ensuring procurement governance, compliance and alignment with security, audit and financial controls

The Ideal Candidate
You will be an experienced procurement professional who combines commercial expertise with a strong understanding of technology purchasing and supplier management.
You Will Have
- Proven experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing or strategic procurement roles
- Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements with major technology suppliers
- Knowledge of software licensing, cloud services, IT infrastructure, telecoms and managed services procurement
- Strong contract management and supplier relationship management experience
- The ability to operate comfortably across both strategic sourcing projects and day-to-day procurement activity
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence at senior leadership level
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse spend, identify opportunities and deliver measurable savings
- Experience working within a complex, multi-site organisation would be advantageous
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to get involved wherever the business needs support
