IT Product Manager - Cloud, API


About the Role

An IT Product Manager is required by Whitehall Resources for a client based in Buckinghamshire. This is a permanent position with a hybrid working arrangement (approximately twice a month onsite).

You will:

  • Lead the planning, management, and value delivery of complex technical platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with a Lead Product Manager to support shared capabilities and product development.
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the transformation of internal data and infrastructure products.
  • Develop deep insights into APIs and cloud platforms (e.g., how they function, application, and integration).
  • Write compelling user stories to guide development.
  • Drive adoption of internal products through business change management, stakeholder engagement, and ongoing support.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Product Manager/Owner in data or infrastructure roles.
  • Strong grasp of APIs and cloud platforms.
  • Ability to craft effective user stories.
  • Communication expertise to engage with cross-functional teams.
  • Bonus preference for:
    • Experience adopting AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted creation of user stories).
