Senior Programme Manager – Aberdeen
We’re looking for a Senior Programme Manager to lead complex IT integration and business transformation programmes for a major energy organisation. This is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of major delivery outcomes, work closely with senior stakeholders, and help deliver technology solutions that improve operational performance and support critical services.
You’ll be part of a collaborative environment that values ownership, inclusion, and professional growth, with support to develop your career and broaden your expertise.
Due to the secure nature of the programme, you’ll need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain it.

The role requires working in Aberdeen at least three days per week.
About the role
- Lead complex IT integration and transformation programmes across multiple workstreams.
- Own programme governance, planning, budgets, RAID logs, dependencies, and executive reporting.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, suppliers, and delivery teams.
- Drive stage-gate governance, decision-making, and delivery control.
- Embed best practice and support continuous improvement across delivery.

Key requirements
- Experience in oil and gas, energy, utilities, or a similarly regulated environment.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or equivalent programme/project management qualification.
- Extensive experience delivering complex IT integration or transformation programmes.
- Strong knowledge of governance, stage-gate delivery, RAID management, and executive reporting.
- Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, suppliers, and delivery teams.
- Ability to work from Aberdeen approximately three days per week.
- ERP delivery experience.
