IT Project Manager – Hybrid Role
About the Role
At cardfactory, we’re making continued investment in our technology and transformation journey. We’re now seeking an IT Project Manager to support key initiatives across all areas of the business, including Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, Retail and Partnerships.
This hybrid role (2–3 days per week on-site) is based at our Support Centre in Wakefield. You’ll deliver a mix of change and business-as-usual (BAU) IT projects, working closely with Product Owners, functional teams and senior stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-value outcomes.

Your Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of IT projects across all business areas, covering both transformational and operational work.
- Define plans, manage risks, and dependencies, ensuring robust governance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Lead projects using a flexible mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, tailoring approaches to fit project needs and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, functional teams, and the Transformation Office to align delivery with business priorities.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships, including regular engagement with senior stakeholders to share updates, manage expectations, and drive successful outcomes.
- Foster a collaborative, agile environment, uniting teams under a delivery-focused culture.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering IT projects, preferably in Retail or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain and/or Business Development landscapes.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, organised approach with ownership mentality.
