IT Project Manager
Bristol (hybrid working – 3 days pw in office)
Salary up to £70k plus excellent benefits
We're recruiting for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a growing technology delivery function and lead a diverse portfolio of business-critical technology projects.
This role requires a Project Manager who can confidently operate across both business and technology teams, balancing priorities, managing dependencies, and driving delivery within a structured governance environment. You’ll be managing predominantly infrastructure and application focused projects.

The Role
You'll be responsible for delivering multiple concurrent technology projects, working closely with technical teams, project sponsors, and senior stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering end-to-end IT projects across infrastructure, applications, and technology platforms
- Managing project scope, plans, budgets, risks, and governance
- Leading cross-functional delivery teams and third-party suppliers
- Building strong relationships with business stakeholders and project sponsors
- Coordinating resources across multiple projects and workstreams
- Managing project reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communications
- Supporting portfolio planning and prioritisation activities
- Driving continuous improvement across delivery processes and governance
- Ensuring successful implementation and adoption of technology solutions

Desirable Experience
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure and application-focused IT projects
- Ability to create application roadmaps and upgrade plans
- Ability to identify technical delivery risks early and build mitigation plans
- Experience managing multiple concurrent technology projects
- Demonstrable examples of risk identification, mitigation, and escalation
- Strong planning, governance, budget, and risk management capabilities
- Ability to influence and drive decisions across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working within structured project delivery methodologies
