Hexcel is currently seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst for our Duxford, UK locations.
The selected individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following obligations:
- Record and resolve Service Desk queries within SLA targets.
- Day to day monitoring and updating the Service Desk system, including escalation of tickets where necessary to Senior Analysts, other IT teams, and the IT Service Desk Manager.
- Set-up and installation of new PC hardware & software, using departmental procedures and standards.
- Carrying out routine scheduled IT activities, such as server backups.
- Carrying out administration duties such as adding and removing network user ids and email accounts in line with departmental procedures and standards.

Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification (Diploma, Degree or other professional qualification)
- Demonstrable IT support experience within a busy IT Service support environment
- Knowledge of PC hardware technology, maintenance and repair of PC hardware.
- Knowledge of current Windows OS applications, servers and workstations.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues systematically
- Strong commitment to helping users resolve issues
- Clear verbal and written communications, with active listening skills to accurately understand and resolve problems
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with friendly and approachable manner
