About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Service Lead / Manager to support a large-scale business transformation and IT separation programme. This is an excellent opportunity for a technology professional with strong IT service delivery, technical product management, and stakeholder management experience to lead the successful transition and separation of enterprise IT systems.
IT Service Lead/Manager
- 📍 Location: Leeds, UK
- 🏢 Work Mode: Onsite – 5 Days per Week
- 💼 Employment Type: Subcontract – Inside IR35
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of IT system separation activities within the programme framework.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the existing IT landscape, including system architecture, security controls, access management, and data flows.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define and execute robust separation plans.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and global stakeholders to ensure successful application and infrastructure transitions.
- Own SDLC documentation, governance, and technical documentation throughout the project.
- Lead application decommissioning and archival activities while ensuring compliance with business and quality requirements.
- Manage technology risks, dependencies, and service transition activities.
- Support incident resolution and provide 2nd Line Support during critical project phases when required.
- Drive continuous service improvement using ITIL and Agile best practices.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in IT Service Management, Technology Delivery, or Engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of ITIL service management principles and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Proven experience in Technical Product Management or Technical Product Delivery.
- Excellent understanding of enterprise IT systems, business processes, and digital product delivery.
- Experience managing stakeholders across business and technical functions.
- Hands-on experience with:
- ServiceNow
- Jira
- Confluence
- LeanKit
- IT Asset Management tools
- Strong understanding of SDLC and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
