IT Service Transition Lead | 24 Month Fixed Term Contract | Hybrid / Manchester (min 2 days in the office)
An experienced Service Transition Lead is required to join an Enterprise Level team and play a key role in ensuring new and changed IT services are successfully transitioned into live operation.
You must have strong IT Tech ‘Service Transition’ experience to apply
Successful candidate will be working across a varied portfolio of projects, partnering with delivery teams, Service Owners and stakeholders to drive service readiness, manage go-live activities and ensure services are fully supported from day one.
The Role:
- Lead end-to-end service transition activities across multiple Enterprise level projects.
- Assess service readiness and manage Service Acceptance.
- Chair Go-Live Readiness meetings and coordinate successful handovers.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Service Owners and operational teams.
- Identify and manage transition risks, issues and dependencies.
- Drive continuous improvement across Service Transition processes.

To apply you should have the following skills and experience:
- Solid experience in IT Service Transition, NOT just BAU IT Service Management or IT Project Delivery.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL (be certified) and ITSM best practice.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing complex transitions across multiple teams.
- PRINCE2, Agile or experience within a large or regulated organisation.

What's on offer?
- Salary range of £59,000 - £60,700
- 24 month fixed term contract (FTC)
- Hybrid working (min two days in our Manchester office)
