About The Role

We are seeking two Systems Engineers to join Leidos's engineering capability, working closely with our customer and supplier teams throughout the entire system lifecycle. The successful candidates will possess a comprehensive understanding of systems engineering principles, with prior experience in integrating software products from various suppliers. The role involves focusing on low-level system design, requirements management, interface definition, and ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, and network components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex projects that require meticulous planning, coordination, and technical expertise, all within a dynamic and collaborative environment. The role also involves supporting system verification activities, documenting processes, and managing artefacts aligned with the Systems Engineering V-Model, ensuring compliance with project standards and stakeholder expectations.

Proven experience working within both Agile and Waterfall delivery models is essential, complemented by excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Candidates should be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and adept at managing multiple priorities effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
