Job Description: IT Support Apprentice
Job Type: Apprenticeship
About This Role
As an IT Support Apprentice, you'll be at the centre of action - supporting business customers daily, helping to keep them protected from cyber threats. Our Camberley team will be in the office with you to provide support and share knowledge. You'll work closely with the Support Manager, who will supervise your progression and mentor you throughout your apprenticeship.
Skills you will learn:
- Hardware and PC support
- Microsoft Software Support and Admin
- Cyber Security Deployment
- Cyber Security Support
- Networking and Firewall Management
- Information Security Compliance
First 12 Months:
- Apprenticeship wage £18,000 per annum, guidance and training from our experienced team.
After 12 Months:
- Progression into an IT Support Technician (Level 1) role at a C Grade salary (£26,265 per annum). Annual reviews allow you to move up bands (B and then A) to a maximum of £28,957, based on your progression.

Long-Term Progression:
- After Level 1 Band A is accomplished, you can apply for roles such as Level 2 Engineer or Technical Alignment Manager.

What You Need to Apply
- Able to work full-time from our Camberley office
- At least 2 years of work experience (preferably in a customer facing role)
- Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone
- Passion for IT or Technology
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Above all, you must be a nice person!
