The Role
We are seeking an experienced O365 Support Engineer to join our IT team, taking responsibility for the support and maintenance of our O365 infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring our SharePoint, Teams and Azure platforms meet Allan Webb's operational standards, working closely with users across the business to resolve technical issues, maintain system integrity, and deliver reliable IT services that support our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer AWL's SharePoint infrastructure, ensuring ongoing functionality, security, and integrity of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams sites
- Develop, implement, and maintain Power Automate workflows to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
- Provide technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
- Monitor IT systems and network performance proactively using O365, Purview and Defender, identifying and resolving potential issues
- Create and maintain user guides, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Ensure all IT support activities comply with company IT policies, security protocols, and data protection regulations
- Provide onsite IT support across all AWL office locations throughout the UK
The Ideal Candidate will have
- Strong, proven experience in IT support, systems administration, and Microsoft 365 administration
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams in an enterprise environment
- Proven experience developing and maintaining Microsoft Power Automate workflows
- Experience administering Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, InTune management, and access management
- Experience working within ITIL-aligned IT service management environments
- Strong knowledge of hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of IT security principles, cybersecurity best practices, and data protection requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional, patient, and user-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence with ability to travel throughout the UK

Highly Desirable
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate, Teams Administrator Associate, SharePoint Administration)
- Experience working within regulated, security-conscious, or defence-sector environments
- Understanding of Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, FSC accreditation, and MoD security standards
Location
Office based – Stonehouse office, Gloucestershire, with travel to AWL offices throughout the UK as required
