IT Support Engineer – London

A global financial services business is seeking an IT Support Engineer for its London office.

Requirements & Skills

The firm seeks candidates who can blend technical troubleshooting with judgement and professionalism. Key criteria include:

  • Working with senior users in demanding environments (e.g., financial services).
  • Managing prioritisation effectively to maintain service levels.
  • Strong capabilities in:
    • Technical roles: IT support, desktop support, service desk, or end-user computing.
    • Hardware & software troubleshooting: Access, connectivity, applications.
    • Microsoft ecosystems: Comprehensive knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
    • Mobile enterprise support, common business applications.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Ticketing systems (ITIL frameworks/incident management).
    • Technical deep dives while clarifying matters to non-technical users.
