About the Role
A well-established international manufacturing organisation is looking to add an experienced IT Support Engineer to its UK IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on technical role covering server support and some infrastructure, security, Microsoft technologies, and end-user computing within a growing business.
You'll play a key role in supporting and maintaining the organisation's IT environment, working across:
- Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy)
- Server, storage, backup, and monitoring infrastructure
- Server patching, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation
- Virtualisation technologies (VMware/vSphere)
- Desktop and laptop support
- Endpoint management and device support
- Backup and disaster recovery processes
- Technical documentation and asset management
- BAU support and ticket resolution within agreed service levels.

Requirements
If you possess a combination of the following skills, then LET'S TALK!
- Previous experience in a 1st/2nd line IT Support Engineer role
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Experience with server administration and infrastructure support
- VMware / vSphere / ESXi
- Veeam Backup & Replication is advantageous but not essential.
- Multi-site or remote user support
- Working with international IT teams
