The Role: IT Support & Services
We are looking to hire a new IT Support and Services colleague to join our IT team in our Manchester office!
With new hiring targets for the Manchester office, we expect a continued increase in user numbers and service demand. This growth directly impacts the workload and complexity handled by IT Services. Therefore, the IT Support will serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical IT assistance. This will include tasks such as communicating with the IT team and management regarding daily tasks and responsibilities, performing general troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades of company hardware/equipment, managing/installing operating systems and identifying/troubleshooting software-related issues.
This is a full-time, in-office role based in our Manchester city centre office, which is located next to Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical IT assistance.
- Communicate proactively with the IT team and management regarding daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Perform general troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades of company hardware/equipment.
- Follow key processes, such as user onboarding and off boarding.
- Manage and install operating systems and identify/troubleshoot software-related issues.
- Record incidents, problems, and their resolutions in logs.
- Manage and perform basic troubleshooting on the company’s IT network.
- Administer M365 and Exchange at a basic level, including creating and managing users, groups, and mailboxes.
- Handle Jira tickets for local and remote IT support.
- Maintain the local office asset list using internal systems.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma, with 2+ years of relevant experience in IT.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Good knowledge on M365 and ticketing systems.
- General understanding of Windows OS.
- Customer-oriented and patient approach.
- Good communication skills, including proficient English language skills (B2 or above).
