IT Support Specialist
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users within the organization. This includes troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and maintaining IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems and networks, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Manage user accounts and permissions.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff.
- Document all support requests and resolutions.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment.
- Assist with IT projects as needed.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, network, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Deep understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and network protocols.
- Familiarity with IT support software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical issues to a non-technical audience.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus.
