Role Overview
We’re looking for an IT Support Technician to ensure our team remains fully connected and our office technology operates seamlessly. As the first point of contact for technical support, you’ll troubleshoot day-to-day IT issues, maintain hardware and software systems, and create clear user guides to empower our teams.
Beyond reactive support, this role will take ownership of IT operations - from managing device lifecycle and implementing upgrades to partnering on governance and security practices that keep our business protected. You’ll work closely with our IT & Cyber Security Lead and CTO to deliver a smooth, reliable, and secure technology environment, enabling i-media’s fast-paced, growth-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities
Service & Support
- Provide first-line support across hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Manage configuration and deployment of laptops, mobile devices, and shared office equipment
System Maintenance & Upgrades
- Oversee updates, patches, and system health for endpoints and shared platforms
- Manage IT asset lifecycle and inventory control
Documentation & Training
- Create clear internal user guides and FAQs to promote self-service and reduce repeat queries
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes to set up team members for success
Governance & Security Alignment
- Collaborate with the IT & Cyber Security Lead on compliance frameworks, access controls, and policy adherence
- Monitor recurring issues and recommend improvements to strengthen our security posture
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and managing end-user hardware/software environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate technical solutions clearly

Desirable
- Awareness of cyber security principles (ISO 27001, GDPR compliance)
- Experience drafting internal guides or knowledge base content
- Prior experience in a creative, media, or scale-up environment
