Up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience, car/car allowance, plus 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension, bonus, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits including cycle to work scheme
About The Role
As an IT Analyst, you will be responsible for the support, maintenance, and development of our key manufacturing applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver effective IT solutions. You will bring a strong background in manufacturing environments and experience with ERP systems, particularly IFS.
As Part Of Your Key Responsibilities You Will
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support for our manufacturing applications, troubleshooting and resolving user-reported issues in a timely manner.
- Liaise with key business users to gather and document requirements for system enhancements and new functionalities.
- Participate in IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and to specification.
- Perform routine system administration tasks, including user access management, system configuration, and data maintenance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all supported systems and processes.
- Commit to learning and adapting existing processes to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide IFS and other support on an on-call rota.
- Lead IT related projects

About You
We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this role!
- Proven experience as an IT Analyst or in a similar support role.
- Strong background working within a manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrable experience supporting ERP or other business-critical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and team members at all levels.
- A self-starter attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Continuous Improvement commitment to learn and adapt existing processes.
- Highly Desirable: Hands-on experience with IFS Applications.
- Degree/equivalent level qualified in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Studies.
- Proficient in reporting tools - SSMS, Power BI, Crystal Reports
- Knowledge of any programming language would be beneficial (e.g. PHP, Python).
- Experience working with data and traceability systems, PLCs, or SCADA systems such as WinCC would be desirable. Basic networking skills would be an advantage.
