IT Systems Analyst

Systems Administrator (Microsoft 365 & IT Support) – Sale, Manchester

STARLIMS Corporation, a global software vendor specialising in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and scientific data management solutions, is expanding its IT team following its acquisition by Turn/River Capital. We’re seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support our cloud-first infrastructure and security excellence initiatives.

About the Role

This hands-on, mid-level role requires a strong foundation in Microsoft 365, autonomy, and problem-solving skills. As the primary point of contact for end-user support—across both UK and global user bases—you’ll also contribute to identity management, security operations, and collaboration platform administration. The role reports directly to the Global Director of Cloud Operations, IT & Security and collaborates closely with cloud and security colleagues.

Core Objectives

  • Deliver responsive remote, telephone, and on-site desktop support for users.
  • Maintain security health, identity frameworks, and productivity tooling in Microsoft 365.
  • Own the incident lifecycle—logging, prioritisation, escalation, and resolution via the internal Service Desk platform.
  • Operate with autonomy, prioritising issues and proactively addressing recurring problems.

Key Responsibilities

Identity & Access Management

  • Provision/deprovision user accounts, manage dynamic and security groups, and handle Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) resets using Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Conduct regular audits of sign-in logs and Conditional Access policies to detect anomalies.
  • Support HR and security processes for onboarding and offboarding workflows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
