IT Operations Analyst – Wembley Stadium, London

Key Responsibilities

  • POS System Support: Administer and administer point-of-sale systems, including:
    • User management
    • Menu configuration
    • Reporting
    • Readiness checks for operational needs
    • Hands-on troubleshooting for POS terminals, payment devices, kiosks, and back-office hardware
  • Event & Matchday Support: Prepare, deploy, and troubleshoot POS systems for matchdays, concerts, and out-of-hours operations, ensuring smooth e-commerce transactions.
  • Incident & Service Management: Lead the resolution of local incidents and process service improvement requests by escalating to relevant internal and external teams as required.
  • Deployment Support: Guides teams through deployments for new openings, specialized technology refreshes, security protocols, and compliance, while mitigating operational service risks.
  • Service Reporting: Deliver clear, actionable updates on technology issues, service performance, risks, and ongoing improvement actions to stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications

Technical & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical support role, or a degree (or equivalent) in:
    • Information Management
    • Computer Science
    • Computer Systems Engineering
    • Business Administration
    • Mathematics or related disciplines
  • 4+ years of experience supporting POS systems or venue technologies, with hands-on expertise.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Windows device administration
    • Basic networking principles
    • Foundation-level programming or scripting concepts

  • Strong written and verbal communication, with exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for technical systems and process guidance.
  • Ability to manage complex priorities across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Flexibility

  • Readiness to work flexibly during bank holidays, evenings, and weekends to support live operations and events.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other venues like:
