IT Systems Integration Coordinator
Job Title: IT Systems Integration Coordinator
Department: Adey Steel Group Reporting To: Group IT Manager
Role Overview
The Systems Integration Coordinator (SIC) will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of a new ERP system: Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and the transition away from the current in-house on-premises system, scheduled for decommissioning in 2026.
This is a fixed-term role (~12 months), focusing on:
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Process validation
- System development support, ensuring BC meets all operational and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Shadow employees across multiple departments using the current in-house system.
- Simultaneously replicate processes in BC to validate functionality.
- Test end-to-end workflows across all business functions.
Gap Analysis & Issue Identification
- Identify discrepancies between the in-house system and BC.
- Document system gaps, inefficiencies, and risks.
- Prioritise issues based on operational impact.
System Development Support
- Liaise closely with the IT Systems Administrator/Developer to resolve identified issues.
- Assist in refining system functionality and workflows.
- Participate in iterative testing cycles to confirm fixes.
- Collaborate with third-party suppliers (e.g., Dynamics partner) for system development, issue resolution, and integration.

Output & Reporting Validation
- Test reports and outputs generated from BC.
- Ensure outputs match current business requirements of the in-house system.
- Highlight inconsistencies and support resolution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Engage with stakeholders across all departments.
- Build understanding of business processes and requirements.
- Act as a bridge between operational teams and IT.
- Support communication and coordination with external partners as needed.
Training & Documentation
- Assist with end-user training for BC adoption across the business.
- Create and maintain:
- User documentation
- Process guides
- Training materials
- Process maps reflecting current and future-state workflows.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Reports directly to: IT Manager
- Works closely with:
- IT Systems Administrator/Developer
- Department stakeholders
Duration
- Fixed-term contract: ~12 months
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
✔ Experience with ERP systems (especially testing or implementation) ✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ✔ High attention to detail ✔ Ability to understand and map business processes ✔ Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills ✔ Comfortable working across multiple departments
Desirable
✔ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ✔ Exposure to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes ✔ Experience working with data, reporting, or system outputs ✔ Strong understanding of IT systems or system development processes ✔ Experience in a manufacturing environment
