Job Role: IT Systems Manager

Location: Scunthorpe | Hybrid Working

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Technology & Risk Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit an IT Systems Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional looking to take ownership of an established IT function while playing a key role in the future development of the company's business systems.

This role would suit an experienced IT Manager, IT Systems Manager, Infrastructure Manager or Head of IT who enjoys working across the full IT landscape from infrastructure and business systems through to projects, reporting and continuous improvement.

Whilst previous Infor ERP experience would be advantageous, it isn't essential. The business is looking for someone with strong transferable ERP and IT management experience who is keen to learn the Infor platform as part of their long-term development.

The Opportunity

As IT Systems Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the IT function, ensuring the business has reliable, secure and scalable technology to support its continued growth.

  • Work closely with senior leadership, external technology partners and users across the business to deliver improvements, drive automation and maximise the value of the company's IT systems.
  • This is a varied role combining operational IT management with business systems ownership and technology improvement projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
