We're seeking an IT Systems Manager with strong SQL and database expertise to support and develop a business-critical bespoke system whilst helping shape the future IT landscape of a specialist Life Sciences organisation.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants to have a genuine impact within a collaborative SME environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, support and enhance a bespoke SQL-based business system (BioManager)
- Manage and administer SQL Server databases
- Build, extract and deliver client data reports and datasets
- Support business-critical applications and internal IT systems
- Assist with migration from a legacy Quality Management System to a modern off-the-shelf platform
- Ensure data integrity, security and compliance within a regulated environment
- Provide hands-on support across a range of business and operational systems
What We're Looking For

- ✅ Strong SQL Server and database administration experience
- ✅ Experience maintaining and supporting business-critical applications
- ✅ Strong data extraction, reporting and database management skills
- ✅ Comfortable working in a hands-on SME environment
- ✅ Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
- Life Sciences, Biotech, Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry experience
- Experience supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Application support or business systems experience
- Exposure to GxP-regulated environments
