The IT Systems Trainer Job
An innovative and forward-thinking professional services firm is looking to appoint an IT Systems Trainer to join its growing Technology team.
This is far more than a traditional training role. You'll play a key part in helping colleagues embrace technology, improve the way they work, and maximize the value of the firm's digital systems. Working closely with the wider Technology team, you'll support new software rollouts, develop engaging learning programs, and help embed a culture of continuous learning across the business.
Whether you're delivering classroom sessions, creating digital learning content, or providing one-to-one coaching, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on how technology is adopted throughout the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering engaging training programs across a range of business-critical IT systems
- Developing user guides, video tutorials, e-learning content, and other learning resources
- Delivering onboarding and induction training for new employees
- Supporting software upgrades, new system implementations, and digital transformation projects
- Delivering workshops, virtual training sessions, and one-to-one coaching
- Working closely with stakeholders to identify learning needs and improve user adoption
- Monitoring the effectiveness of training programs and continually enhancing learning content
- Championing technology best practice and encouraging colleagues to embrace new digital solutions

The IT Systems Trainer Candidate
We're looking for an engaging trainer who combines strong technical knowledge with a genuine passion for helping others learn.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as an IT Systems Trainer, Technology Trainer, Software Trainer, or similar
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Experience designing and delivering engaging training using a variety of learning methods
- Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
- The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to users with varying levels of technical knowledge
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused approach
- Experience within a legal or professional services environment would be advantageous
- Knowledge of legal case management systems, Learning Management Systems, or change management methodologies would be beneficial
