- Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm
- 24/7, 365-day on-call rotational schedule
- Weekend rotation
- Maintain set office hours
- Provide support during non-business hours as needed

The Water Department’s Business Services Division is seeking an IT Tech Support Analyst II to support full life-cycle management and administration of the utilities network infrastructure.
We’re looking for a clear communicator who can work with both technical and non-technical audiences, deliver excellent customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced 24/7 operational environment.
The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator who can manage multiple priorities, support leadership with reporting, troubleshoot effectively, and apply best-practice Cybersecurity principles across Water Department networks and critical systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- Two (2) years of responsible experience in information system technical support work such as cybersecurity, operating systems, networking, server backup and recovery, or related fields

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDP, or Antivirus
- Security or networking certifications (Security+, CySA+, CCNA Cybersecurity)
- Experience handling end-user security alerts and unusual activity
- Experience with firewall/security platforms
- Experience supporting audits and compliance assessments
- Experience with SSL/VPN connectivity
- Experience with network operations, asset inventory, and desktop/helpdesk support
- Municipal or water utility
The IT Technical Support Analyst II job responsibilities include:
- Assist in implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and securing wireless, local, and wide-area networks and video surveillance systems
- Implement and support network security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and multi-layer security solutions
- Support core business processes and departmental systems
- Provide customer help desk and PC support
- Maintain and monitor cybersecurity tools for utility business and SCADA networks; assess vulnerabilities across systems such as VMS, access control, meter-to-cash, and LIMS
- Support security audits, system health checks, vulnerability assessments, and performance reporting
- Analyze and optimize logging systems to identify anomalies and reduce false positives
