My client, an innovative technology-focused organisation, is hiring for an IT Technical Support role to join their growing IT team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong Microsoft 365 experience who enjoys supporting users, improving systems, and working with modern cloud technologies. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment, working closely with the Global Administrator to support day-to-day operations and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts, permissions, licensing, and access policies.
- Support mailbox administration, device management, and Microsoft 365 application deployments.
- Help maintain governance across Teams and SharePoint environments.
Security & Compliance
- Monitor Microsoft Defender and Entra ID for security alerts and unusual activity.
- Review sign-in logs, audit information, and system changes to identify potential risks.
- Support security improvements through Microsoft Purview policies and compliance processes.
- Assist with phishing awareness and security training initiatives.

Support, Training & Improvement
- Act as an escalation point for Microsoft 365-related issues.
- Support users and deliver training to improve adoption of Microsoft technologies.
- Create documentation, user guides, and knowledge articles.
- Use PowerShell and Microsoft Graph to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
User Lifecycle Management
- Manage onboarding and off boarding processes within Microsoft 365.
- Review licence usage and support cost optimisation.
- Keep the business informed of Microsoft updates and new features.

The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- Microsoft 365 administration (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune)
- Microsoft Defender XDR and Entra ID Protection
- Microsoft Purview (Audit & Retention)
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Microsoft Graph SDK
- Security awareness platforms such as KnowBe4
- Credential management tools such as Bitwarden
You will have:
- Experience in a Microsoft 365 administration or technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based Microsoft technologies.
- Experience managing users, devices, permissions, and security controls.
- PowerShell scripting experience with a focus on automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users.
