IT Technician
About This Role
On behalf of the drb Ignite Multi Academy Trust’s Trust Board, we would like to thank you for your interest in the IT Technician role. This is a critical position that ensures the continuity of IT support within the Trust, contributing to the resilience and ongoing development of our services.
As part of the Central IT Team, you will collaborate closely with:
- The Director of IT and Compliance
- Infrastructure and Systems leaders
- Operational IT staff
- School leaders across the Trust
This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your expertise and make a meaningful impact on the implementation and support of:
- Trust’s IT infrastructure
- Cybersecurity
- Cloud technologies
- Wider digital transformation strategy
Job Purpose
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and maintaining the Trust’s IT systems and associated technologies across schools
- Contributing to the efficient operation of digital services within the Trust
- Providing frontline technical support to staff and pupils
- Supporting the Trust’s cloud-first, cybersecurity, and digital transformation strategy
- Collaborating with the wider IT Services Team to drive continuous improvement across all schools
