IT Workplace Technology Project Manager (FTC)
Location: London, UK (Canary Wharf + EMEA Travel)
Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract
Salary: Up to £60,000
A leading technology infrastructure and systems integration specialist is seeking an experienced IT Workplace Technology Project Manager to deliver workplace technology projects across enterprise and mission-critical environments throughout the UK and EMEA.
This is a hands-on project management role responsible for delivering IT infrastructure, structured cabling, workplace technology and AV projects from planning through to completion. You will manage project delivery, client relationships, financial performance, technical teams and service excellence while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end workplace technology projects across multiple customer sites.
- Deliver IT infrastructure, structured cabling, AV and Moves, Adds & Changes (MAC) projects.
- Manage project schedules, budgets and resource planning.
- Lead engineers, subcontractors and third-party suppliers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project delivery.
- Coordinate desktop deployments, infrastructure installations and decommissioning activities.
- Manage project risks, issues and change requests.
- Produce project documentation, reports and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and customer standards.
- Oversee procurement and supplier coordination.
- Maintain asset management and project records.
- Drive continual service improvement across project delivery.
- Support out-of-hours and weekend project activities where required.

Requirements
- Previous experience managing IT infrastructure or workplace technology projects.
- Experience delivering projects within banking, enterprise or mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of:
- IT Infrastructure
- Workplace Technology
- Structured Cabling
- Moves, Adds & Changes (MAC)
- Desktop Deployments
- AV Installations
- Network Infrastructure
- Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Excellent planning, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the UK and EMEA.

- ITIL Foundation.
- CompTIA Network+.
- BICSI Certification.
- Data Centre certifications (CDCTP, CDCMP).
- Previous financial services or data centre experience.
