About the role

As the IT&D Senior Program Manager - Lab Resilience, you will be reporting to the IT&D Director R&D. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing E2E LAB RESILIENCE Program activities, across both Category & QC laboratories in Reckitt. You will be also responsible for co-ordinating and reporting delivery status of individual project and workstream activities, and will be accountable for establishing and leading appropriate governance processes across the program. You will be also responsible for E2E financial management of all related project activities. In this role you will lead the delivery organisation and key stakeholders across platform, architecture stream to deliver the program on committed timelines.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage the IT&D Lab Resilience program, overseeing deliverables, schedules, and finances against plan, while ensuring robust project management controls are in place and all outputs align with governance processes and IT&D standards.
  • Establish and maintain programme, project, and workstream plans, ensuring effective KPI and OKR reporting for both delivery and value tracking, and provide regular updates to governance forums such as the Steering Committee and Design Authority.
  • Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies within and beyond the core Lab Resilience program, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to align plans and ensuring that critical decisions are clearly communicated to leadership for guidance and alignment.
  • Own the lab resilience risk register, ensuring cyber, network, and availability risks are properly identified, mitigated, accepted, or escalated, while translating cybersecurity and architecture strategy into practical, lab-appropriate execution.
  • Drive value realisation and post-implementation adoption to ensure long-term resilience maturity, define the target operating model (including lab network operations, security incident response, and support services), and lead the programme team with clear RACI, goals, and objectives to deliver successfully against agreed plans.
  • Work closely with Business and IT&D Lab Resilience leadership to deliver against short-, mid-, and long-term roadmap plans, while managing executive sponsors and their expectations through established governance forums and ensuring alignment across strategic priorities, including coordination with cross-functional IT&D leads to align dependencies across multiple programmes and projects.
  • Build strong relationships with delivery partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while managing project delivery resources by providing coaching and guidance in line with HR policies and procedures, ensuring high performance and effective execution across the programme.

The experience we're looking for

  • Extensive Change Leadership experience gained over a 15+ year technology career.
  • Proven experience of leading delivery of a major, complex digital transformation/Resilience Programs within Networking, Infrastructure, security domains.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior leadership teams across multiple functions.
  • Proven track record of engaging with delivery partners throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Background within the FMCG, personal hygiene, and healthcare sectors.
  • Strong history of delivering large-scale programs in a GxP-regulated environment.
  • Practical experience in both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.

The skills for success

  • Understanding of OT-like lab environments (instruments, controllers, vendor-managed systems) and strong understanding of ITSM, PMP, Agile processes.
  • Graduate or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Ability to define and track resilience value metrics.
  • Appropriate ITIL/PMI/PRINCE certification.
  • Desirable: knowledge and understanding of IT Networking, infrastructure in laboratory environments, understanding Azure Dev-Ops fundamentals for project management, reporting and deep expertise in end-to-end technology development.
  • Desirable: trained or certified in Scaled Agile, DevOps methodologies, understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
