As the ITO Sourcing Lead, you’ll drive global sourcing for complex, high-value tender opportunities, acting as the key link between commercial, engineering, and supply chain teams. You’ll shape competitive, compliant bids by leveraging supplier strategies, managing risk, and unlocking cost efficiencies—delivering strong outcomes while creating long-term value across the global supply base.
As a Senior Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Serve as the primary sourcing lead for global ITO tenders, partnering closely with the Commercial team to support strategic opportunities
- Identify and capitalize on global and regional sourcing opportunities by leveraging market intelligence, demand aggregation, and supplier strategies
- Review customer subcontracting requirements to ensure full compliance and effective risk management within tender submissions
- Support Product Line Strategic Sourcing teams in supplier selection, RFQ execution, commercial evaluation, and award recommendations
- Ensure robust cost confidence in tender submissions through accurate pricing, supplier alignment, and validated assumptions
- Lead supplier engagement and qualification activities, collaborating with Commodity Leaders to align sourcing strategies with execution
- Proactively identify sourcing risks and opportunities, developing and driving mitigation and value creation plans to completion
- Execute optimized sourcing strategies, including volume leveraging and early engagement aligned with Business Development Plans (BDP)
- Deliver cost reduction initiatives and drive lead time improvements across the supply base
- Negotiate, implement, and manage Long Term Agreements (LTAs) with strategic suppliers, supporting overall LTA coverage targets

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Experience in direct sourcing and procurement within supply chain, ideally in manufacturing or heavy engineering
- Solid understanding of strategic sourcing, category management, and global supply markets
- Strong cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams
- Advanced cost modelling and pricing analysis capabilities
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate sourcing and supply chain risks
- Strong self-management skills, managing multiple tenders concurrently
- Proven track record delivering cost reduction and efficiency improvements
- Have a permanent work permit in UK
