IV Outreach Clinic Lead
Job Overview

You will be a key point of contact for patients throughout their care. We have a number of career opportunities for both newly qualified and experienced registrants—NMC registrants—who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a friendly, professional setting.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will be responsible for:
- The assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care.
- Working collaboratively and cooperatively with other members of the team.
- Being motivated to meet the needs of patients and their families and developing valuable relationships.
Clinically, you’ll:
- Be supported to become competent in connecting and disconnecting parental nutrition.
- Receive training to maintain infection control at all times.
- Empower patients to feel comfortable managing their own care (where possible).
- Liaise with your team to share ideas on best practices.

Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- NMC Registered
Desirable Criteria
- Evidence of post-registration study and training (e.g. POVA)
Experience
Essential Criteria
- Pre-registration evidence in direct nursing care.
- Experience of providing holistic nursing care.
- Interest in developing nursing skills.
Desirable Criteria
- Clear understanding of the clinical governance framework.
- Implementation of evidence-based practice.
Skills
Essential Criteria
- Clear understanding of contract of care.
- Ability to document details clearly and accurately.
- Clear understanding of the consent process.
- Basic IT skills.
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of incident reporting policy.
- Awareness of policies and procedures.

Personal / Disposition
Essential Criteria
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Desirable Criteria
- Ability to speak Welsh.
