Janitor – Cleaning & Facilities (Monday to Friday)

About the Role

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

As Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our public or private buildings, ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for occupants and visitors.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Daily cleaning duties:
    • Scrubbing floors, walls, windows, and surfaces using appropriate tools, equipment, and chemicals.
    • Collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables, including emptying waste containers and sorting recyclables.
  • Restroom maintenance:
    • Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap, paper towels).
    • Checking that plumbing fixtures and fire extinguishers are functional.
  • Safety monitoring:
    • Identifying and reporting safety hazards.
    • Ensuring emergency exits remain accessible and the premises are secured at shift end.
  • Inventory & supplies:
    • Tracking cleaning supplies levels and alerting supervisors when restocking is required.
  • Ad hoc tasks (as needed):
    • Carpet cleaning and floor buffing/waxing.
    • Operating industrial floor-cleaning machinery.
